It's been 1 month!

It's been one month since we've started this blog and we've had 61 posts!!!
So far, "/DN" is kinda MIA due to workstress and general malaise, but "Andi" and I ("Less") are holding the fort...

So, what have you accomplished? Where else do you want to go? What did you notice?

Post comments... (Is this a ripoff of Crossfit? You bet!)

I had to think about this questions for a while before answering it. In part because I'm still recovering from working a lot and in part because the wife is home for the weekend and I'm trying to get soem quality time with her.

What have I accomplished?:
- I've been able to make it to the gym ~5 days out of every week.

- I've been able to workout at home in the new gym-room almost everyday, except "rest days".

- I def. feel much stonger, more on the ball, but the last few days of bad sleep have left me feeling drained...

- I've posted almost every day since starting this blog - kept up the interest and intensity.

What do I want to do?
- My core is progressing very well, but I've noticed that my pushups are sucking hardcore and are limiting me from delivering power punches all of the time...

I've def. got to work plyometrics and endurance in this department!

- I saw Buddy Lee jumping rope at crossfit and I learned a lot by watching him! I love my rope routines, but I think that I need to up the intensity a lot... I'll be buying a rope from him later tonight.

- It's been too snowy to really go running and the eliptical machine that we've got is hit or miss for me as far as intensity is concerned... We got a couple of nice days, and I did go, but man my shins are killing me! I think I need to do many more short conditioning jogs and then up the running intensity... Big difference running on the spongy treadmill or the eliptical machine and on the pavement outside.

Overall, I'm off to a good start!

What have I accomplished?

-Daily workouts even if it was just 2 hours of cleaning windows (works out your arms and back)

-Varied workout, I used to just do 3km of swimming a week, now I do cardiorheinstairmaster, swimming (good for arms, legs and cardio), the whole leglift/crunches/pushups thing, some yoga and MBT walks (Masai Body tech shoes, where you have a rolling motion when you walk rather than a flatfooted walk).

-I feel like I need to exercise now. Everday I feel compelled to do something, even if it is just 30 minutes of leglifts and crunches in front of the TV.

What do I want to do?
-I want to continue as is for another couple of months to build a solid base.
-I want to see if I now am at the point where the exercise and eating a bit differently will have me drop some of the flabweight I have. I do not feel fat, I just feel heavy and not as limber as I'd feel if I were 10lbs. lighter.

So for now it is a continue on kinda thing and then I will do a reassess in 2 months or so.

Crush the enemies, train as if it were for my life, and be ready for 'em at all times!

Even while broken down w. the pneumonia and other cruft, basic structure footwork and iron palm training continued.

Accomplishments were consistency of weight routines 4x a week - blade/ecq weapons drills daily - and oddball russian style exercises like club-bell training and load bearing hiking 1x a week.

Rock out!
