I'll see if I can't find the link for getting started with pushups... Was great stuff! They got a woman started doing wall pushups (standing facing a wall doing the pushup motion) the moving her to pilates ball pushups, then knee pushups, then full pushup.
I gave the link to a coworker and within a month she was doing sets of ten!
One thing that she added was that doing "planks" was very helpfull in preparing for full pushup since you need your core to be strong - she said that without it she'd have hurt her lower back.
